How might this thing work? Emulating a keyboard for input and an Ethernet interface at the same time, which sends wrong NTP info to confuse Apple’s brute force protection?

My guess is that they found a driver vulnerability and run this from kernel mode against the secure enclave.

I have this great passphrase, but unfortunately Android does not accept passwords longer than 16 characters. Probably due to a cooperation with some 3 letter agency..

16 characters protects against brute force.

If it is random characters, yes. But unfortunately it is roughly 3 dictionary words in a passphrase, which is not enough.
