I'm not anti-socialist, for the record. I'm just saying socialism won't magically fix racism, sexism, suppression of queer people.

nobody said that. but socialism is a prerequisite to eradicating systemic inequalities. the only "solutions" possible under capitalism amount to allowing token members of oppressed classes into the ruling class (contingent on their upholding those systems of oppression)

I wouldn't even disagree. But this does extend on Marx' concept of what a class is, which is determined by economy only. That's not classical marxism you're talking about.

okay, and general relatively isn't "classical physics" because it wasn't developed by Newton. dialectical materialism evolves and develops with time and evidence just like any science
