i've been programming for soon two decades and i still can't remember whether "little endian" is LSB first or MSB first. who came up with this terminology

i am strict about saying "intel endian" and "network endian" unfortunately, i still don't remember which is which, but at least i'm more likely to be able to look it up

i remember that "network endian" is big endian but i still can't figure out for the life of me what is the goddamn byte order

Network order you can read in a hexdump. Intel has it backwards. Intel always has everything backwards, that's how I remember.
