Ok, so I got this to a point that it might be useful... here's a mini tweet-thread that'll explain what the heck is going on. Tl;Dr - I made a UART controlled glitch on an iCE40 icestick FPGA board... code is here: https://github.com/unprovable/glitch-stm32 …https://twitter.com/LargeCardinal/status/1005574359149432834 …

Adapted my code from previous example so I can start glitching more chips from one platform. I will buy a chipwhisperer of my own, (sorry @colinoflynn!!) but doing it by hand (UART controlled glitching w/ var width controlled by UART data) is kinda fun!! :P pic.twitter.com/mZSQj2b5fA

IceStorm is a breeze and pleasure to work with. The tooling is ace, as well. I'm genuinely grateful to Clifford for what he's done.

Completely agree! Now you know that you're aiming with your glitch at the conditional jump that terminates the print, right? So it will just keep on printing memory contents?

basically yes - though I haven't managed to get it exactly at that point just yet (would need a bit more fiddling to get there) it means I have more accuracy than I expected for the amount of effort I put into the code X-P
