@andreas212nyc Question is, who's "mainstream"? At least in NL, those I want to connect to (media, gov't, biz...) are more on Twitter vs FB.

@NicolasSabourin Question is more about who are target is... But shouldn't we reach beyond usual interlocutors? -
@andreas212nyc Key is to use multiple platforms. I find FB good 4 official profiles, "general" audiences; Twitter better 4 targeting, IMHO. -
@NicolasSabourin For me FB is more for networking and groups -- exchange ideas, info, etc -
@andreas212nyc True that FB allows more substantial exchange of ideas. -
@andreas212nyc Bottomline: there's no "one size fits all", need to play w/ platforms to find which one best meets#digitaldiplomacy needs... -
@NicolasSabourin I agree -- Not only that, we'll also need to move beyond platforms and see#digitaldiplomacy as more than communication -
@andreas212nyc That's a big challenge: few managers/leaders truly understand how social media can improve multiple aspects of our work. - 2 more replies
