Thank you very much for all the work and effort! Is there any way to connect to a hosted Gitlab other than through an SSH port? (sorry if there any way currently)

Not atm. You can deploy a public repository through HTTP, but through GitLab App, only ssh is supported.
Why do you need to access it through HTTP?

I'm guessing it's like an open source Railway or FlyIO right? Open source Heroku alternative but with paid hosting for people who don't want to self host?
