I think FB is in for a tough ride. What they should really do - identify all users and moderate all content - they can't possibly do.https://twitter.com/KathViner/status/866654330342035457 …

How can FB then claim they care about user experience when I could easily write something very offensive and most likely get away with it?
-
The truth is that the user experience isn't prio one for FB, Google et al. The real prio one is advertiser experience. Follow the money.
-
FB lives on selling your personal data to advertisers. You are the product, not the client. The advertisers are the clients.
-
If FB went for authentic users with proven identities many users would leave and FB wouldn't have all that data to sell to advertisers.
-
If FB went for real moderation and user experience they would have to hire so many moderators profit would be a memory of the past.
-
Conclusion: FB will say it will stop all abuse on its platform but it can't do so for real as its business model can't handle it.
-
argument "business model" is nonsense. FB takes bils in profits from 3d party sales of yr personal data, etc. FB notorious for zit security
-
That is what I argue Mary.
