@Awifefirst Rubbish! March 33 elections after Reichstag Fire characterised by fear, terror attacks by SA, arrests, beatings.

Thanks for the friendly addressing. The March elections were not the ones that put Hitler in power.

Wrong again. He was just appointed Chancellor by Hindenburg of a non Nazi gov 30th Jan 1933. After March = Nazis

I said Hitler became Chancellor after free and fair elections. I didn't say the nazis won the elections.

There were no elections in January 1933. The November elections of 1932 saw sig drop in support for Nazis.

Not true. There couldn't be "free and fair" elections in an anarchic state. These are possible in a strong democracy only.

Please define "strong democracy". Compared to Sweden the United States is not much of a democracy for example.

#US is a strong democracy, however it's 🇸🇪 to serve as a definition of the one.

he became Chancellor because he convinced one man, Hindenburg, to appoint him as one,his party won only about 33%-no majority

but you can't say democracy is flawed because one man was flawed. A strong democratic system would've prevented this.

Also giving one man so much power even after elections is a sign of a flawed system.
