#Iceland is a leader in this, can apply to any "hotspots" eg Ethiopia, New Zealand, Japan, Phillipines, California+ many morepic.twitter.com/R96GhLPM1a

Brilliant!

Everyone could save a lot of energy & CO2 with a rooftop passive solar water heater. http://energy.gov/energysaver/solar-water-heaters …pic.twitter.com/nfBGRCuTkM

We have ground heating here in Sweden. $10,000 to install but then no costs. Very practical.

Sadly, in the UK we mostly just protest against wind turbines rather than embrace the concepts of green energy. Tragic really
-
Here too. Many small mountains near my Swedish home. None used for windpower as it would destroy the feeling and view.
-
I have often wondered why wind turbines are left white- which can be seen horizon to horizon -& not camo. Birds aren't stupid

The other argument- pilots need to see them - doesnt hold water either. Planes dont fly into trees....http://tinyurl.com/hocnw7k
