It seems Obama's strategy is to let Russia to get bogged down and later deal with it as it become weak.

But is Russia becoming bogged down?
-
They spend more on military, and their economy in deep crisis. But when they stop and how many lives this will cost?
-
They will not stop until they totally change their government system and mentality. That is the big challenge.

easy to point out the failures, not so easy to give alternatives
-
Not so hard. Red line in Syria. No reset with Russia. Guns to Ukraine. All obvious already before Obama decided the opposite.
-
the American people were opposed to all of the above apart from the Russia reset. And what happens next after we arm Ukraine?
-
When you arm Ukraine you lower the risk of violence in Ukraine as the cost rise for Russia. Strong deterrent.

But it's frustrating to see those atrocities made by russians and their allies - and seems no one want do anything to stop it

As result of this there're many casualties in Ukraine and Syria, but they are not US citizens. And US strikes will make more.
-
Most people, including myself, only argued the US should supply arms - not soldiers.

Although I support the idea of US giving weapons to Ukraine, it seems with our current arsenal we were able to stop russians.
