true, the gorenment has right to do so. So do the other counries - not accepting refugees is a right as well.

In both cases there are agreements that have been agreed to. Some countries break the refugee deal. So, no complete right.

The law says that refugees have to stay in the country they first land their feet on. That is the law

That law was circumvented by an agreement among all EU members. That agreement is not honoured now. Very bad behaviour.
