@tggleeson Swedish if of course low-ranked, Finnish impossible to learn. But to have a few languages in common would help.

@andersostlund There's the rub, we do, it's called English. If it was the middle ages it would be Church Latin. -

@andersostlund While those less educated (in general, not just lang) fear this global economy and especially the migrants it brings. -
@tggleeson Absolutely. Many fear global competition and see no place for themselves there. Populists exploit this. -
@andersostlund One other key diff. Little Englanders see WWII as the "best of times", most rest of Europe see it as the "worst of times"!
