@andersostlund you mean like between 1917 and 1922 ?

@we_pf Yes. Sooner or later Russia runs out of cash and tensions will grow. Three sides: Putin et al - Nationalists - Muslims. -
@andersostlund Americans told me about this scenario first time in 1998 :-( -
@we_pf From what I know about 1998 I think it was close to happening then. Pressure will be harder this time though. -
@andersostlund at the moment all the "action" seems to happen in Syria :-(( -
@we_pf Syria will eventually destabilise Russia itself I think, unless Russia pulls out very soon but that is not likely. -
@andersostlund you think without Russia there would be peace in Syria (Iraq, etc.)? I don't -
@we_pf That wasn't my point. My point was the war in Syria will cost Russia so much it destabilises Russia itself. Money, money. - 3 more replies

@andersostlund Bigger question is how many would flee prior too it, here in Miami there are a good number of units owned by Russians. -
@maxplaysmusic That is the elite. The common man will have to walk towards Ukraine, Baltics or Finland. -
@andersostlund Who the hell is going to be left to fight? -
@maxplaysmusic Plenty of spoils to be had. Also remember all the anger and frustration that is being built up in Russia under current regime -
@andersostlund I’d figure that Putin pulls the trigger on a war with outside forces if he thinks it might go that far. -
@maxplaysmusic I don't think it will be a blast opening of the civil war in Russia. It will start with a series of terror attacks. -
@andersostlund For some reason I would think it starts with a tempted coup. With an old school Soviet style cleaning of the ranks. -
@maxplaysmusic Maybe you are right. I think terror attacks will cause increased crack-down and then more attacks in response etc etc. - 2 more replies
