@andersostlund you think France or England were stronger? One on one

@torchilo3 Do the math from September -39 to May -40. UK and France were way stronger than Germany. -
@andersostlund I'm bad at math. Enlighten me -
@torchilo3 France mobilised 6M in September -39 when Germany was busy in Poland. France could have marched on Berlin then. Didn't.

@andersostlund and at the start, Hitler had powerful allies and a good economy, whereas P's Russia is completely isolated and virt bust -
@GeoffreyDWest Well, I am not sure I agree. Germany's economy in the 30s cannot be compared to Russia's oil decade that lasted until 2008. -
@andersostlund Yes I could be wrong, wishful thinking maybe -
@GeoffreyDWest Russia's economy is going down the drain now though. That might be our rescue. -
@andersostlund fingers crossed

@andersostlund Don't underestimate the advantage given by fifth columns like the Quislings. And don't overlook them now. -
@Cllr_Barnard Good point. I almost got heart attacks on a daily basis last spring when the Ukrainian traitors worked 24/7.

@andersostlund "stronger but passive": The Brits and French, sure. You forget "stronger but distracted": The Soviets and Americans.;-) -
@MattLabor Germany didn't win anything after USA entered the war. All victories before that.

@andersostlund Russia won WW2 because of plenty of cannon fodder fed by American food. USA basically were feeding Soviet army back then.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
