@andersostlund are you serious after 13 hours no deal?

@natavas777 Had there been a willingness for a deal it would have been done much faster. Not much to agree on really. Previous talks had it. -
@andersostlund I know Merkel is relentless may be there is a chance to get the rat in the corner and cut off the oxygen

@andersostlund Has Russia declared war? -
@SergeyKofanov Wars are not declared these days. It is an action. Russia 'declared' war last March when invading Crimea. -
@andersostlund Formally the Crimea was annexed, not invalided. There were numerous legal issues, like breaking the Constitution, voting etc. -
@andersostlund I think the thing the parties were really afraid of was Putin to command his proxies to hold referendum to join Russia. -
@andersostlund (2) in this case it would immediately convert to a proxy war against Russia if arms were supplied. -
@andersostlund (3) There are two things that prevent Putin from doing this: 1- He must first recognize DPR/LPR, 2- he wants all Donbass.

@andersostlund I expect Putin to drag this out as long as it takes to secure Mariupol and a land link to Occupied Crimea. Hope I'm wrong. - 1 more reply
