@andersostlund AFAIK, only bits of Europe not occupied by other states in the last 500 yrs are England & the Grand Duchy of Moscow (in part)

@mvonschantz Sweden too. The part where I grew up has in-fact never been occupied by a foreign power. -
@andersostlund You've lost me. Which part did the Danes miss? -
@mvonschantz The Danes never occupied the whole of Sweden. It was a "union" with Sweden. Danish dominated but still a union. -
@andersostlund Formally perhaps, but it took armed struggle to break away. But I'll give you that one as Christmas is coming up. -
@mvonschantz Indeed it took armed struggle. Took this pic the other day. Engelbrekt was one of the rebel leaders.pic.twitter.com/5wSDhXOTkB

@HetmanAndrij Don't be too sure. In a few years China will own most of Russia's assets anyway. :)
-
@andersostlund @hetmanandrij As the economy sinks, Putin will be more and more dependent on making deals with China. Will pay dearly for them

@andersostlund Even if Germany would NEVER do it: Claims towards Königsberg more than justified (following Putin's logic) -
@free1953 But Russia should be broken up in pieces anyway. The pieces can become small independent states but that's it. -
@andersostlund@free1953 Breaking up Russia into it's logical bits and pieces will finally bring an end to wars the Kremlin starts. -
@Robert2909@andersostlund This will happen- i am very afraid that this will be accompanied by a gigantic bloodshed -
@free1953@andersostlund I agree, incredible bloodshed, but not by typical war, and it will be over in a couple of days or even hours. -
@Robert2909@andersostlund I am afraid of Syria style scenario -
@free1953@andersostlund This is a completely different story.
