If Congress is looking to deport their parents they will try it anyway. They already have the language. Same language they use for the kids.

The language you're using, though correct & nuanced, will not resonate w/everyone-only the choir. How do you break through to b/w thinkers?

I literally am telling you how, bc in my previous work I spent much time with market tested language on how to persuade ppl on this issue.

Language matters. Nuance matters. There is no reason to use dangerous language that blames their parents. None. Focus on positive story.

I've studied political science & public opinion including grad work-PhD. Most Americans do not care about nuance. They will tune you out.

You say "move to the persuadable" - in other words, preach to the choir. Nothing will change if you don't meet ppl where they are.

If you can't talk about why Dreamers deserve to be here other than to blame their parents, then you're not being an ally & not valuing them.

Actually - there is no place that people are. People toggle btwn competing perspectives based upon even super subtle language manipulation.

Effective msg requires REPETITION (familiarity increases persuasion effects.) If advocates & base won't repeat - middle won't hear
