ppl know what "penalty rates" & are pretty forcefully behind them, isn't it better to use language people know?

People also know what 'weekend rates' mean. I use 'penalty rates' constantly too, but its just a bad word. Where is the penalty?

i disagree. Workers who've spent years getting penalty rates didn't know what I meant when I said weekend rates

In our polling, around 85% of sample understood "weekend rates" to mean what they are. And if we repeat it, even more would get it.

another Q. Do you think the campaign would have been more successful if we called them weekend rates?

UV used wknd rates & went w/family/time frame as opposed to leading w/$$$ & hardship/deprivation. Think more echoing would = more success.
