...it wasn't solely an economic decision. It was made up of many factors. Data show that's true for most people having abortions.

Messaging on the issue should address our multi-faceted lives, and complex decisions and feelings. It's tough. There's no one way.

For me, addressing emotions, economics, and the visions for the world we want to create all have to be part of the conversation at once.

I think it's a failure to not address the emotional aspect, particularly if we want to center people who've had abortions, as I do.

Also, I think a failure of the economic debate is that it centers money as someone's worth and the sole reason for making a decision.
