The only way to make people abandon their conspiracy theories & separate them from GOP lies is to pull back the curtain on *why* they're stoking division and fear: to have us point at the wrong culprits while they make off with the spoils.
It won't work, any evidence that disproves any of their beliefs is written off as fake. No matter how blatantly obvious it is. We have tens of millions of lost causes in America that will likely stop at nothing until they violently destroy the country they pretend to love.
It is supremely naive to assume that people who have become accustomed to being lied to by weaponized disinformation will hear your voice and suddenly decide that it is the truth. Yours is not the only voice they will hear, so you are just another data point in a sea of bad info
For the most part, they get it from their Church. Where most irrational beliefs originate. Unless we recognize that reality, we cannot change it.
