Here’s the bottom line: our elected leaders govern in our name and must promote our interests. Once you have fed and spread lies about millions of Americans because of their race and place of origin you are not fit to represent us.
This is the case for removal. That is the only path to #JusticeForUs and good governance. We are imperiling our own cause if we make this a story of punishment. It is an opportunity: to have the country we merit by forcing the conversation about what government can and must be.
We can turn this absolute wretched horror into our case for a government that cares for us. If you want this job, you must prove yourself worthy of all of us, no exceptions.
