Funny you ask! Did an entire messaging project just on this year ago. Negotiate much better than bargain, which sounds like supplication. Freedom super strong frame but I would not use it in this phrase bc it sounds individualistic. Negotiate collectively.

Note the “join in union” not “a union.” Latter reinforces oppo argument that unions are third party interlopers. A union suggests it’s free standing entity and not the collective will of workers.
