LP ads were made by the Republicans who brought us to Trumpism in the first place. If you want to persuade people to be more progressive, say progressive things. 2
The "blockbuster" ad mentioned in article was among the many that not only pushed swing toward Trump, it increased racial enmity against Asians and Asian Americans. Making people blame China fed Trump's COVID narrative - not truth. 3
To clarify: article says it did not work. By "blockbuster" I only meant lefties on Twitter fawning and throwing dollars at it. 4
