What do you do when their supporters stage a protest/tantrum on November 14? Ignore them. Don’t give them TV-ready confrontations. It’s attention-getting behavior. Let the adults sort this out, and let them cry themselves out. We have work to do to repair the damage done.

Ignore them when it comes to live coverage, but report on their shenanigans in all media. Do not engage them in the streets and inadvertently provide a video or photo talking point they can use. We must be strategic here.

This is one of those dilemmas for me on Facebook. Ignore the posts I see claiming widespread fraud in the hopes they fizzle out, or will that just allow them to spread? Address them, or will that just amplify them? Any thoughts on this?
