The fact that we’re having this whole progressive vs centrism debate in our outdoor voices is proof positive that we have not learned to stop selling the recipe and start selling the brownie.

Absolutely. And the way we win that debate (and any really) is to have OUR conversation. Not to wander onto their field and agree to debate on their terms. We should be talking about what we will deliver to people. Not get sucked into responding to their inane claims.

Totally get it!!! I’m very angry about this “debate” and how absolutely nothing new under the sun it is. That’s why I want us to say what we’re for. What you fight you feed. Centrism is a morally bankrupt nonsense that doesn’t merit our airtime.
