I'm a Californian. :) But even here registration isn't automatic and we don't make election day a holiday. Mail in is GREAT. But even we can do better.

As an Australian, I really am gobsmacked at the US electoral system, and the amount of disenfranchisement that blatantly goes on. Like most of the rest of the world, I truly hope that you all vote for change on Nov 3rd, and that you put electoral reform on the agenda. Best wishes
