But the left has LONG measured success by ability to generate attention and dollars. To keep fueling more messaging that feeds but does not enlarge the base.

This is why we spend so much time belaboring problems and talking about (therefore bolstering) our opposition. Because this fuels already political, already progressive anger to spend more money for more of this.

And the fact that even our ideological base - people aligned with us on issues but not activated - won't repeat our messages doesn't seem to matter.

We are voicing what is wrong. And more importantly - we are telling the truth. Forget changing conditions. Forget telling our story. We want to describe the current conditions and criticize the current story.
