Yes: And anyway, being progressive is all about a better world, respect, people thriving... Yet what we are against keeps us busy, can become central in our minds & thus divert us from keeping all this in focus. In tangling with it, we can sometimes veer into 'becoming' it too.
Periodic reminder (to myself as well): Talking constantly about Trump is how we got Trump. We must say what we are for, give people a glimpse of what can be, otherwise we feed the absolutely justifiable cynicism that nothing can change so why bother trying.
