Admittedly, some of those Trump fans have been convinced that the rapture is on the horizon, so they probably believe that they won’t be around much longer.

And during one of my recent excursions into conspiracy theory discussion threads, I learned that some people believe that COVID deaths are actually people being raptured. (Then there’s also the belief that COVID was created by aliens to form a new hybrid human-alien species...)
