The extent of the death toll is due to a set of choices made by a tiny cabal, not just Trump but also generations preceding him, to treat certain people and indeed life on our planet itself as objects to generate more profits for the already rich.
But! Since these have all been choices, not any act of god or nature, we can make entirely different choices. We determine our future by what we decide and demand and do, together.
We must have faith. All of this that has been done by a very small handful of people who have held sway by dividing and distracting us to abet their plunder. There are so many more of us. People who know that we are only able to get and stay well if everyone can.
We must tell each other these truths. And not get stuck just fighting what the other side is saying and doing. We must say what we’re for and what we can and will have. And not hand the opposition our airtime by negating and therefore repeating their lies.
