For $2.2 trillion, they could give each of the 210 million adults in America $10,476. We're getting $1,200. This leaves $9,276 of each person's share for them to give to corporations, with little oversight. While we're getting pocket change, others will be getting rich.

This is misleading, Anat. While the amount going to corporations unchecked is by far too much and without the needed oversight, a very large chunk of this money is going directly to state and local government as well as to unemployment insurance.
