Literally as I was watching these, my husband @danancona in the other room was marveling at how when you hear these ads without looking at the screen — which is how many people hear TV ads — it just sounded like a Trump channel. 4/12

Finally, I’m not sure humor is the right fit for political ads right now. I watched several that attempted humor or lo-fi memes and in all cases I thought they fell flat at best, and were offensive at worst. 9/12
