Update!!!! She came back! Appeared this morning without so much as a scratch or an explanation.

In scheme of things, I know this is minuscule but our cat, who my kids love like a sister, disappeared yesterday and sitting with their sadness without recourse is so hard.

I’m so sorry. Have you looked everywhere inside your house? One time I went away for a day and thought my cat ran off. We searched everywhere for her, called around and put up signs. She was “gone” for 2 days when I finally found her hiding in a big storage closet.

We saw her sneak out and she’s been gone since but will come through house again. Thanks.

Our cats have got stuck nearby several times: in every case they had been stuck VERY close by (garages, sheds etc) and every time we found thanks to a neighbour seeing a sign we put up on a lamppost.
