So that invalidates her views on Cummins book? (Genuine question. I haven’t read the book and have very conflicted views on the fairness of the criticism).
Appreciate genuine q! Esp. on medium where they're in short supply. She's opining about *response* to book, not book itself. Response w/in complex issues of power, racism, xenophobia, American-style colonial exploits of LA that forced migration etc. Topics outside her expertise.
