Just out of curiosity, What do you think of Framework’s explanatory “Immigration Sail” metaphor? When I asked him, Mr. Sho hadn't heard of it. It's new to me, and I don't see it used much on Twitter. Worry that it risks bringing to fore notion of (1) immigrants are separate ("they" are wind, "we" excludes them) (2) imm value is what they can do for "us." My experience testing indicates that messages need to have immigrants be agents, narrating their motivations.
