Frequently, I hear in the standard yoga class patter about us having and being all we need a tacit permission not to fight the fascists. I'm probably getting this focus on my breathing thing spot on.

It's funny in a way because all the good yogis I know in India are full-on fighting the fascists today. :)
Of course they are. Hope it's clear - definitely don't think this is inherent to yoga. Am speaking of how it's "translated"
