Yes! And there is a parallel narrative in mega-church evangelicalism, where "we need God, not politics." You could plainly see that in the Netflix doc "The Family." It's a green light for the oligarchs.
Frequently, I hear in the standard yoga class patter about us having and being all we need a tacit permission not to fight the fascists. I'm probably getting this focus on my breathing thing spot on.

It’s important to affirm that we are & have all we need; myth of scarcity props up fascism. Many advocates would do well to remember that so they spend less time yelling at/compromising with/begging fascists to change their minds & more time actually fighting for what we deserve.

I hear you & agree. My reference was to refrain I hear (maybe it's Bay Area thing?) that it's merely our perceptions that create/inhibit our wellbeing. This, to me, risks suggesting someone could happy-think their way out of pain caused by actual harms we need to address.
