Unintended illnesses is a false equivalency to the debt problem brought on by a mountain of bad choices.
Equivalency is: Society advances & we can do better for people's wellbeing, we should. Wanting education b/c of interest or b/c jobs demand it isn't "bad choices." UC Berk/UCLA, etc used to cost 100s. Now 10s of thousands. Debt isn't "choice;" it's no choice at all.

That long-term debt is required for jobs isn't true. I just don't think people should be forced to give to other people, let alone feel like they have to associate with them. If so virtuous, lead by example and commit your resources to helping out others in need.
