If we just keep describing what GOP is doing or predicting what they will do, we feed into cynicism that we are powerless. And that renders us powerless.

It would be great if they would work for the majority of their constituents and not just for their donors who don't give a fuck about maintaining democracy. Doing what is right should be more important than staying in power.

Also I’d argue that they’re not even “in power.” They are puppets who must move and speak as the Trumpeteer pulls their strings.
