The people thumping their chests will never see actual combat or send their loved ones to face it. They unleash violence for personal gain and leave it to the working people whose healthcare they destroy and futures they steal to deal with the consequences.

Great point. By chest thumping I meant those in power. Even as I decry the MAGA-crowd’s blood lust, I recognize they’re hurt by all of their leader’s decisions.
