Those taxes could pay for infrastructure (healthcare & better education). Google highways and train systems in Asia. America doesn’t have a chance if it doesn’t fix the crumbling world around them.

Theses are the charts Democrats should show again & again. But networks/cable on either side have no desire for people to know this. The rich are the rich. Others think everyone can pull themselves up from their bootstraps ‘cause they were lucky or lucky enough to be bright.

Unfortunately, it’s what the most common framing does across issues. Jobs and homes are “lost;” gaps “widen;” poverty “skyrockets.” No agents anywhere. And thus, no obvious theory of change.
