Market economy is a conscious project when Capitalism is NOT practiced in its pure form. 1. Gaming the political system to enhance competitive advantage. 2. Silent collusion on price. 3. Silent collusion on non compete. 4. Straw auction to rig bids. 5. Buyout of competitors.

Free market theory to which Profiteers pay selective homage (while preferring the more impressive moniker Capitalist, whether they operate with their own capital or move other people’s money around for a price) is predicated on absence of charity/welfare & absence of crime/fraud.

It's the economic equivalent of chemistry lab - a way to teach students how to analyze markets and understand how they fail. Closest analogy we have in the real world is family farming, where there is a clear dearth of billionaires.
