Really good points.
I think police shouldn’t shoot unarmed people; even if those people are literally shouting “f*ck the police.” Either there are inviolable standards or only “good” people deserve rights.

100% agree. Perhaps their purpose in including mom's "good kid" reference was to deal with the subconscious bias of a broader audience, but it serves to activate that, as you said. I'd be interested in what their testing of the ad revealed.
