Polls are the aggregate opinions of a selected sample of people modeled to represent the corresponding population of people. So... If sample isn't actually indicative of pop. then they're wrong. If opinions are about distant future and they change then they're wrong.

For sure. But polls are of registered voters. Modeling likely voters this far out is very very suspect.
