My family is among them. They are hopeless, you are correct about that. Some are college-educated but are thoroughly indoctrinated against Democrats and pay no attention to policy whatsoever. There is hope though. My dad was a life-long R and dumped the party for Obama.
Indeed! It’s a huge country with every kind of person in it. Reducing humans to the purportedly fixed characteristics of demographic groupings flattens this out. And often obscures what we need to be doing.
