For a variety of reasons (devastating impacts of climate change right at the top), I catch myself when I feel like asking that question. Instead, I've been pivoting to some version of "what's your vision for the world and what will you do to help make that happen?"
Sometimes I fear that the age-old "what do you want to be when you grow up" question has no relevancy for my own kids.
