You're making my point for me. Modern unions have completely abandoned *actual* Australian workers, because truly representing their interests means opposing the immigration which undermines them. And that's too icky for the uni-educated, doughy leftists who run the unions.

If you think unions should only advocate for people of a certain nationality or a certain skin colour, you don't understand unions. If you expect unions to be racist, then please follow Luke's advice and fuck right off.

That's completely nonsensical. So hypothetically, a labour union in, say, China would still be faithful to Chinese workers if it started supporting a government-sponsored programme of mass immigration of unskilled workers... BS. That's treacherous.

Nonsense would be assuming good working conditions are only applicable to people who have the same skin colour as you. No union worthy of the name would assume that. Laws undermining the collective power of workers and unscrupulous bosses are to blame for exploiting immigrants.
