    Apparently, the Senate rules are set up to disable the Senate from governing in our interests and enacting laws that Americans favor by large numbers. Good thing those rules are entirely changeable. The many can defeat the money when we stand united.

    The voting rights fight going on now will define democracy for the decade, if not longer. We spoke to about what we could learn from the last most important fight of the decade--making sure the "election stayed won"--to campaign for the John Lewis voting rights act.

    If you have actual power and relevancy as an elected representative you attend to your job and vote on bills. If you do not, you stage performance art from the white nationalist bowels of a hotel conference room and hope the media can’t tell the difference.
