The World Health Organization now recommends masking “for anyone in a crowded, enclosed, or poorly ventilated space.” But few of us know the quality of ventilation in our spaces. #CovidIsNotOver #COVIDIsAirborne

What burns me about that updated WHO guidance: isn't ANY indoor space an "enclosed" space, by definition? Why couldn't they just have said masking is always recommended indoors?!?

Indeed! At best, it clarifies that those plastic tents for ‘outdoor’ dining are also enclosed & bad places to unmask, but they were probably just avoiding the words ‘mask indoors’

People have really gotten a false sense of security being outdoors, too. If you’re close enough to someone to have a conversation with them, you are still at risk & should use a mask. Both my COVID infections I got outdoors.

More CO2 monitors are needed. Should be standard in all businesses and office building.

true, but masking in 'enclosed' space is good guidance as that is any indoor space
