I'm not a gun owner or NRA member, but I'd really like to hear what YOU think the solution is to all this. The arguments are so polarized: "NO GUNS" or "MUST HAVE ALL GUNS", but I don't think the average NRA member is that black-and-white. Talk to me, what can we do here?

Background checks should exclude people w/ mental illness, drug issues & criminal records owning guns. Do these kids think that asking law abiding citizens to surrender their weapons means criminals will surrender them too? We’ll end up w/ armed criminals & a disarmed populace.

Al can keep his money, we will keep our guns, you can keep being ignorant. It has only been a few months that a private citizen in TX shot a mass murderer, preventing him from killing more innocent people. Taking guns out of the hands of people like him will make matters worse.

And he shot the mass murderer with an AR-15. What law can we pass that criminals will obey? If someone wants a gun to kill, they are going to find it. No law is going to stop them. It will only keep people from defending themselves. Murder is illegal. The killer didn't care.

I hope he manages to do something. So many groups have tried, to no avail. If a classroom full of 1st graders doesn't work, what will? I believe nothing less than repeal of the 2nd will keep our children safe. Look at other countries! I choose the children, not the NRA.

Ppl always blame the gun instead of the psycho behind it. We have a mental health problem. The
@FBI dropped the ball on the Florida shooter, it could have been prevented. If it wasn't a gun it will be something else.
